Alessio Lucatti
Pianist and Keyboardist / Vision Divine, Etherna
Alessio was born in 1982 (Pisa, Italy). He started studying piano at 9 years old. After winning various Italian piano contests, he’s been admitted to the piano courses of Lucca’s conservatorio, where he took his degree with maximum marks in 2004, under the guidance of Ms. Nadia Puccinelli. In the meantime he continued his concert activity as a solo pianist or in orchestras as theOrchestra giovanile dell’Università di Pisa and the choir of the Scuola Normale in Pisa. He perfectioned in jazz improvisation with Mr. Piero Frassi and he dedicated to teaching, writing also a studying method to approach music and the instrument. From 2001 to 2008 he played with Arché, a Deep Purple tribute band, with whom he played in many venues, and who allowed him to deepen the study of Hammond; he later entered Purple Sucker. In January 2006 he became part of Vision Divine, with whom he played all over the world and with whom he registered the albums “The 25th Hour” and “9 Degrees West of the Moon”, with Timo Tolkki producing, and “Destination set to Nowhere” (2012-Edel / earMUSIC).
